He is survived by: his wife Sandy Mahala (Kutcher); his sons, Tim (Gwen Hendrickson) of Abington, MD and Eric (Karyssa Mahala-Nevins) of Abingdon, MD; his mother Betty Mahala (Murray) of Elkton, MD; his siblings, Karen Brown and Scott Mahala of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren, Mahala Hendrickson and Heidi Justice; and his pet Petra.
