He is survived by: his children, James C. Bowlsbey, III (JoAnn) of Airville, PA, Samuel A. Bowlsbey (Kim) of Elkton, MD, Steven L. Bowlsbey (Angela) of Elkton, MD and Mary A. Wassmer of Earleville, MD; his grandchildren, James Bowlsbey, IV (Ashley), Shane Bowlsbey, Samuel Bowlsbey, Jr., Evan Bowlsbey (Daniele), Matthew Bowles, Sarah Bowles, Rachel Merendino (Andrew), Kris Wassmer (Cassie) and Jenny Dant (Nate); his great grandchildren, Elliott, Brynnlee, Bohdi, Zoey, Allyssa, Reign and Avery; and his siblings, Alice Reynolds of Rising Sun, MD. and Joe Bowlsbey (Pat) of Rising Sun, MD..
