He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Thacker and Ruby Dawson Thacker; and his sister Shirley Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Broomall Thacker; his daughters, Jessica Brock (Michael), Stephanie Thacker, Rebecca Thacker (TJ), Taylor Thacker and Morgan Thacker; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Aiden, John, Hunter, Trentin, Dalton, Emma, Mason, Naomi and EllyMae; and his siblings, Jimmy Thacker (Mary), Bryan Thacker (Pam), Joe Thacker (Kathy), Guy Thacker (Lisa), Donna Vermeersch (Dave) and Connie Kamit (Nick).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Sharps Cemetery (226 Lewisville Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
