He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ewing (Rhoades). He is survived by: his children, Mandy Caldwell of Johnstown, PA and Christopher Ewing of Sebastian, FL; his father Gilbert S. Ewing, Sr. of Elkton, MD; and his sister Terry Boyce of Elkton, MD. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
