He is survived by: his wife Linda Gester; his daughters, Kristy Tyree of Elkton, MD and Karen Sheets (Jason Sheets) of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren, Joshua Cooper, Kayla Sheets, Brianna Tyree and Madison Sheets; his brothers, Lawrence Gester (Jane Wiley), Ricky Nolan (Meredith Nolan) and Michael Nolan; and his nephews, Derek and Alex Gester.
