With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Fitzgerald of Elkton, Maryland, born in Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Victor Truxell and Alva Lee Truxell (Chaplin); and her husband James Franklin Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Fitzgerald (Debra) of North East, MD and Timothy Fitzgerald (Trisha) of North East, MD; her granddaughter Jessie Lee Fitzgerald of North East, MD; her stepgrandsons, Brandon Herd (Bre) of Kunkeltown, PA and Kevin Brooks of Delta, PA; and her brother Charles Eugene Truxell of Waynesboro, VA..
