With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della Joyce Simpson of Elkton, Maryland, born in Chilhowie, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Sr. and Kathern Ennis Trivett Combs; her daughter Karen Diane Bowman; and her grandsons, William and James III.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane Simpson (Kim) of Royal Oak, MD, Mark Simpson (Angie) of North East, MD and Paul Simpson (Belinda) of North East, MD; her grandchildren, Samantha, Amber, Devin, Logan, Mark, Courtney, Sondra, Paul, Anthony and Tiffany; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Cayden, Audrey, Chase, Wyatt, Sawyer, Maeve, Sadie, Everleigh, Charli, Annie, Cali, Ava, Stephen and Ariana; her siblings, Norma Benjamin (Wayne), Mary Ganzman, Danny Combs (Rhonda) and Lee Roy Combs, Jr. (Laura); and her son-in-law James Bowman, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
