He was predeceased by: his parents, Santokbhai R. Patel and Dahiben S. Patel; and his brother Natubhai Patel. He is survived by: his wife Saryuben B. Patel; his children, Alpesh Patel (Hetal), Parul Patel (Mehul) and Mamta Desai (Kishan); his grandchildren, Jaivik Patel, Vihaan Patel, Rusheek Patel, Risha Patel, Nishil Desai and Shivani Desai; and his siblings, Manubhai Patel, Arvindbhai Patel, Jaybala Patel and Mahendra Patel.
