She was predeceased by: her husband Sanford Elmer Griffith; her parents, Nelson Carey and Mary Carey (Clough); and her daughter-in-law Julie Griffith. She is survived by: her son Donald S. Griffith of Fair Hill, MD; her grandchildren, Matt Griffith (Katy), Christina Trimble (Mike), Amanda Fesel (Rod), Christopher Hocking (Crystal) and Jeremy Griffith; and her brother Nelson Carey, Sr.. She is also survived by her 6 great-grandchildren.
