He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Baen and Mary Baen. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Baen; his children, Jennifer Watts, Nina Baen, Barry Baen, Jr., Kevin Baen, Katherine Baen (Mike Brinegar), Holly Baen, Richard Simpler and Loraine Simpler; his grandchildren, Haley, Kira, Courtney, Catlyn, Ryleigh, Evelyn, Barry III, Kayla, Richie, Madyson, Brayden and Christopher; his siblings, Charles, Dawn Moore, Donna Carr and Betty Bear; his close friend Raymond Justison; and his friends, Gregg Lee and Mike Delp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
