He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Lanham and Texie Thompson Lanham; his wife Odessa Lanham; and his siblings, Sylvia, Cecil, George, Charles and Delbert.

He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Lanham (Anna) of Newark, DE and Richard Lanham of New Providence, PA..
