She was predeceased by: her parents, Moe Mercer and Hazel Mercer (Lidie); and her siblings, Earl McCauley, Kathy Wallace, Sharon Tuerke and Robert McCauley.
She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Hedler; her daughters, Debbie Carden (Preston) of Earleville, MD, Becky Miller (Brian) of Rising Sun, MD and Melissa Davisson (Jeremy) of North East, MD; and her siblings, George McCauley of Whitesburg, GA, Patricia Harp of Hanover, PA, Lloyd "Pete" McCauley of Hamlin, NY and Darlene Spencer of Manchester, MD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crouch Funeral Home (127 S Main St, North East, MD 21901).
In place of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
