With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice E. Long of Elkton, Maryland, born in Clay, West Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Leroy Long; and her granddaughter Paula Messina. She is survived by: her children, Melvin J. Long (Yoko) of Annapolis, MD, Lamona Skaggs (Harry) of Norfolk, VA and Cindy Messina of Elkton, MD; her grandchildren, Britt Skaggs, Tiffany Wilson, Derric Skaggs and Thomas Messina; and her siblings, Mitchell Duncan of North Carolina, Kerry Duncan of West Virginia, Elmer Duncan of West Virginia, Lena Mulhollen of Ohio and Jewel Miller of Washington. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
