With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ann Shamer (Elkridge, Maryland), who passed away on January 22, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Tilghman A. Shamer, Sr.; her sibling Nelson J. Greenfield, Jr.; and her grandchild Melisa R. Shamer. She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn M. Goldhammer (Lee), Tilghman A. Shamer, Jr. (Randi) and David J. Shamer (late Michele); her siblings, Estelle M. Miller, Edwina Cogill, Anthony Greenfield and Evelyn Petraitis; and her grandchildren, Jennifer R. Tucker, Joshua D. Southworth, Joel C. Southworth, Tilghman Shamer III (Trey) and Jeremy L. Goldhammer. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
