She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Benjamin Bowers; and her son Howard "Bus" Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bowers (Donna), Roger Bowers, Brenda Bugaay, William Bowers (Denise), Marvin Bowers (Charmaine) and Cheryl Burns (Terry); and her sister Shirley Lorraine Bowers. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
