He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Eve Broussard and Melvin Francis Ditch; his siblings, Melvin, Roland, Lionel, Elaine and Patricia; his wife Shirley Ann LeBlanc of Abbeville; his children, Karen, Perry, Richard and David (Lucia); and also Martha. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
