He is survived by: his spouse Christa M.; his children, Kenneth Thomas, Jr., Cindy Sating (Joe), Ryan Thomas (Alicia), Opa, Zachary, Luke, Sarah, Brennan and Gabriella; and his siblings, Katherine Cromer, Delores Harold and Jennette Ellison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
