He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Rosemary Boggs; and his son William F. He is survived by: his girlfriend Louise Mann; his children, Hubert F. Boggs (Maureen), Judith M. Shortt and James Sterling (Carol); and his siblings, Regina Chaney, Ronald Boggs, Alania Ivey (Louie) and Randy Boggs (Jackie). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Lung Association.
