As Esther Jane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Esther Jane. Though Esther Jane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Ringstaff; her husband Joseph Henry Trail; and her son Joseph Henry Trail II. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Rykiel (John); and her grandchildren, Erika Perry (Tommy), Joey Trail (Heidi), Lindsay Reed (Andrew), Jenna Rykiel (Chris) and Scotty Trail. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to ALS research, the disease that took her beloved husband too soon.
