He was predeceased by: his mother Sybil Hawley. He is survived by: his wife Sara M. Hawley; his children, Rebecca L and Jack D. Hawley; his father Clifford E. Hawley; his fathers-in-law, Bill and Hank Livelsberger; and his siblings, Judy G. Beyak (Peter), Bruce C. and Phillip D. Hawley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Lung Association.
