She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Long; her parents, John Merson and Mary Merson; and her siblings, Jack, Bill, Bud, Sam, Don Merson, Bette Leishear and Janet Oursler.
She is survived by: her children, David Long (Debbie) of Selbyville, DE and Sandra Love (Jeff) of Severn, MD; her grandsons, Phillip Love and Brandon Love (Hayli) of Severn, MD; her great grandchildren, Easton and Adalyn; and her brother Thomas Merson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing per current public health guidelines.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Melville Chapel United Methodist Church in Elkridge.
