He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Smith and Madeline Dick Smith; his daughter Joyce Ann Lewis; and his brother Leo Smith. He is survived by: his pets, Coco and Smokey; his wife Janet B. Smith; his children, Roger Lee Smith, Jr. (Donna) of Elk Mills, MD and Kellie Leigh Smith (Randy Armstrong) of Elk Mills, MD; his grandchildren, Stephen Smith (Calystia), Jacqueline Middleton (Justin), Johnny Lewis and Elizabeth Wagner (George); and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Mason Smith, Dakota Middleton, Little Johnny and Maddie Lewis.
