He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Buchanan and Pearle Jennings; and his sibling John William Buchanan, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Donald Buchanan of Eldersburg, Keith Moore (Bonnie Buchanan) of Westminster and Nancy Moore of Keedysville; and his sibling Ella Rebecca Glassmeyer. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
