He was predeceased by: his parent David Timmons Heck; and his brother Elwood Heck. He is survived by: his parent Edith Jane Sanders Heck; his spouse Stephanie L. Riddle Heck; his significant other Wayne Hippler; his stepdaughter Karry Turgeon; his sister Sue Furlough; his brother-in-law Tom Furlough; and also, Lura Kidd and Chris Turgeon. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
