Reter-Long of Eldersburg, Maryland, born in Glyndon, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Krauch and Cornelia Krummel Krauch; her husband Lawrence W. Reter; and her siblings, Donald E. Krauch of Chicago, IL and Shirley Robinson of New York, NY..
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra J. Myers of Waynesville, NC, Carol A. Vaughan of Berlin, MD and Peggy D. Martin of Eldersburg, MD; and her grandchildren, Wendy Eash of Clarkesville, GA, Tiffany Ayres of Queene Anne, MD, Philip Cohen of West Deptford, NJ and Geoffrey Vaughan of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
