He is survived by: his parent Affa Nulton Rice; his wife Janice Reid Rice; his children, David Ocala (Gail) of Florida, Thomas, Sterling, Debbie Crossett (Joseph), Eldersburg and Laura Keibel (Thomas); and his sisters, Clara Belle Reggie of Swoyersville and Ida Berlew.
