It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mary Stofcik (Eldersburg, Maryland), born in Emmitsburg, Maryland, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Peter and Ethel Grace Harbaugh; her former husband Allen Woodrow Lawrence (Speedy); and her husband John Joseph "Scotty" Stofcik. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Albright (William) of Hershey, PA, Michael Lawrence (Karen) of Lancaster, VA and Steven Lawrence of Thurmont, MD; her grandchildren, Justin, Anastasia, Alexander, Michael, Grace, Cynthia, Craig and Mangy; her great grandchildren, Owen, Jarrett, Elias, Payton, Taylor, Asher, Aurora and AJ; and her siblings, Doris Dinterman, Barbara Dinterman and Leroy Cool.
