He was predeceased by: his parents, John Asmussen and Anna Asmussen (Laier); his spouse Rosine Asmussen (Groener); his brother John Asmussen; and his daughter Yvonne Baldwin.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Miller, Nancy Cline, Cathy Sawyers, Carol Bonds and William R. Asmussen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
