He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Rodecker and Violet Rodecker (Travis); his son Ronald Rodecker Jr.; his grandson Travis Rodecker; and his sister Joan Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Rodecker; his children, Deborah Safchuck (Larry) and George Rodecker; his grandchildren, Mike Safchuck, Scott Safchuck, Troy Rodecker, Tristyn Rodecker and Nicole Rodecker; his great grandchildren, Savannah Safchuck, Makenna Safchuck and Mason Rodecker; and his brother Mark Rodecker.
