Polly V. Shunk Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 77, Polly V. Shunk of Edgewood, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayes Harris, Jr. and Mary Ellen Harris (Farley); her husband William (Bill); and her brother Hayes "Buster" Harris, III. She is survived by: her children, Hayes, Tony Shunk (Paige) and Diana Jennings (Randy); her grandchildren, Heather (Donald), Mike, Jake, Matt, Lyric and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Donald, Demetrius, Eli and Arya; her siblings, Lanny Harris (Ruth) and Betty Crookshanks; and her brother-in-law Roger Kregar.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Assembly of God (803 Edgewood Rd, Edgewood, MD 21040). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Cokesbury United Methodist Cemetery (1302 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009).
