He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Metzger and Gladys Melton; and his brothers, Donald and Charles Melton. He is survived by: his wife Judy V. Melton of Edgewood; his children, Sherrie L. Pleasants of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Paul M. Melton of Graham and Matthew J. Melton (Chrissy) of Middle River, Maryland; and his sister-in-law Francis Melton. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
