He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Roberts Sr. and Rosetta Roberts (Smith); and his siblings, Bane, Wayne, Eugene, Bill, Joe Roberts and Eula Mae Redd.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Roberts (Cage); his children, Sherry Roberts and Donald Roberts; his grandchildren, Dana Roberts, Daniel Roberts, David Roberts, Rachel Bernstein and Matthew Bernstein; his great grandchildren, Tessa Green-Bernstein, Keira White and Ya'ar James Shabat; and his siblings, Jack, Aldean, Sam Roberts and Emma Lou Mullaney.
