We bid farewell to Joan Ann Lauzau of Edgewood, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Joan Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ubald Desaulniers and Elsie Desaulniers; and her grandson Joshua Carr. She is survived by: her husband John Charles Lauzau; her daughters, Therese Ann Murdza and Christine Ann-Murdza Zier; her stepchildren, Susan Mary Lauzau, Linda Marie Henry (James Fred), Amanda Kay Lauzau and Christopher John Lauzau; her grandchildren, Kelsi Galbraith, Jordan Carr, Austin Reeves and Sawyer Harris; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Christian, Cooper, Dawson, Kylin, Chance, Weston and Ruby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery (1643 Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015).
