He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Betlejewski and Bernette Betlejewski (Smith); his wife Evelyn Betlejewski (Sherman); his children, Cory Betlejewski (Laurie) and Carrie Cogley (Rob); his granddaughter Violet Paige Betlejewski; and his brothers, Kevin and Robert Betlejewski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Maryland.
