He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bethke and Lena Bethke (DeVries); his wife Mary Bethke (Ritter); and his siblings, Marie Solokowski, Alvina Schneider, Hilda Zink, Bill Bethke and Henry Bethke (Pete).
He is survived by: his children, Howard Timothy Bethke (Sara) and Patricia Bethke (Veronica Grover); his grandchildren, Hadley Bethke and Harper Bethke; and his sisters, Lena Knauff and May Townsley.
