He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip "Rufus" Buchanan and Betty Miller (Harris); his wife Paula Kuhn; and his stepfather Samuel Miller. He is survived by: his brother Philip Buchanan of Joppa, MD; his daughters, Rita Glover of Essex, MD, Tanya Buchanan of Edgewood, MD and Tiffany Buchanan; and his grandchildren, Neyah, Noah, Nykell, Kyleigh, Kaiden and Khaadir. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
