She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Palmer Johnson and Sylvia Johnson (Icke); her children, Steven (Marianne) of Denmark, Reed (Lois) of The Villages, FL, Karen Sladden (Timothy) of Rochester, NY and Susan of Rochester, NY; her granddaughters, Corinne Galligan, Colleen Galligan and Erin Galligan; and her cousin Treiva Wilterding of Egg Harbor.

Memorials may be given in her honor for the Door County Maritime Museum or the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church.
