He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Mitchell, Sr. and Alice Rairdon Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Church Mitchell; and his sister Alice Fitzgibbon. He is also survived by five nephews and nieces and many grand nephews and grand nieces.
