He is survived by: his wife Peggy Christine Aley Ludwig; his children, Jennifer Marie Goss (Mark) of Annapolis, MD, Jaclyn Christine Besche (Tyler) of Queenstown, MD and William Christian Ludwig II (Candace) of Severna Park, MD; his grandchildren, Reese Makenna Goss, Delaney Sophia Goss, Zander Miles Goss, William Christian Ludwig III, Finn Marie Ludwig, Aley June Besche and Brooks Carter Besche; and his sisters, Paula Seaman, Cathy Reed, Nola Crumbacker, Sherri Ludwig, Ann Holman, Tina Lindner and Donna Bridgman.
