He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph and Catherine Jane McCarthy; and his sister Mary "May". He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his brother Vincent; his children, Patrick (Denise), Kevin (Connie), Kathleen (Rik), Brennan (Wendy), Colleen (George), Michael, Anthony, James, Daniel, Saoirse, Ceili, Yetta-Marie, Wyatt, Ronan, Declan, Kilian, Adaline, Kiylnn, Brayden, Chandler, Kolten, Skylar, Cohan, Crew, Thaddeus, III, Micky, III, Rowan, Jasmine, Emiliano and Nayeli; his children-in-law, Tad, Sr. and Jessica; and his children, Tom, Mac and McCarthy.
