It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy M. Morauer of Edgewater, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Roy find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gail Morauer. He is survived by: his sons, David Morauer (Terri) and Ryan Morauer (Erika); and his grandsons, William, Charles, Sergio and Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).

“Rest in peace, Uncle Roy. My love and prayers go out to David, Ryan and their families. I really cannot believe Uncle Roy is gone. It is just so sad. I loved him and Gail very much.
