It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Mateczun D. Vadm Mc Usn (Edgewater, Maryland), born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Ellen and Alfred Joseph Mateczun; and his nephew Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Elizabeth Holmes; his children, Laura Mateczun (Nina Kearin), Erin Johnson (Chris Maruca) and Adam Johnson; his grandchildren, Bradley and Taylor; his brother Dr. Alfred Mateczun (Cody); his nephew Alfred E. Mateczun; his niece Catherine Mateczun (Mathieu Parent); and his sisters-in-law, Maria Raleigh and Carrie Reinhert (Tom). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
