He was predeceased by: his sister Dorothy Nicolai. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nicolai (Snow); his children, Keith Nicolai (Sara) and Karen Baldwin (Ed); his grandchildren, Kevin Nicolai, Heather Nicolai, Haley Baldwin, John Baldwin and William Nicolai; and his sisters, Elaine Armen and Charlotte Susan Dearien.
