She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ludwig and Ethel Ludwig; her son Michael Mahoney; her grandson Shaun Johnson; and her siblings, Ethel Lazzaro and Joseph Ludwig.
She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Janet, Kevin Mahoney and Donna Schmitz; her grandchildren, Drake, Brent (Cate Beckner), Christopher (Shannon Schmitz) and Allison (Patrick Curry); her great grandchildren, Michael, Elise Beckner, Rowen, Carter, Elliot Schmitz and Ethan Curry; and also Ernie Beckner.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (826 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
