She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Elwood Dawson and Hazel Stallings Dawson; her husband David Brashears; and her siblings, Shirley Crawford, Louise Whetzel, Homer Dawson and Hazel Luttrell.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Pumphrey (Richard) of Dunkirk, MD and Michele Wilson (Richard) of Odenton, MD; her grandsons, Adam Pumphrey (Michelle), Steve Pumphrey (Carly) and David Wilson (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Cole, Beau, Aubrey, Sadie, Charlotte and Paige.
