She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Timothy Stanley "Tim" Shields of Severna Park, Maryland; her granddaughter Amanda Elizabeth Shields of Severna Park; her brother-in-law Bobby Oakes of Florida; and her significant other Priscilla. She was also cherished by three nieces and three nephews; and special dog.
