He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Butler Carey Bloxom and Dr. W. R. "Pep" Bloxom; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Carey and Cindy Powell Cole. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Powell Bloxom; his siblings, Carolyn C. Senter and Richard N. Carey Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Hattie Sue Widdowson, Keith Widdowson, Glenn Powell and Jerry Wayne Senter; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Tim Darcy, Richard, Jen Carey, Justin, Amanda Senter, Carey, Mark Zinneman, Rhi Powell and Greg Compton; his close friend Princess Kate; and also, William Byrd Bloxom, Kayla Latham, Bonnie Sue Bloxom and Tristan Rekdahl.
