It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Novella Miller Burton of Eden, Maryland, born in Ocilla, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Miller and Valla Hodge Johnson; her children, Barbara Burton, Christine Burton and Freddie Burton; and her sister Elnora Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Watson, Regina Pye (Jimmy), Tangee Flagg (Albert), Sandra Ames (Craig), Donald Burton, Ronald Burton and Booker Burton, Jr.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two nieces; a host of cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
