He is survived by: his parent Pearline Polk Barkley; his wife Clara R. Barkley; his children, Marion M. Barkley, Jr., Laval A. "Scooter" Barkley, Sr. (Delema), Brett O. Barkley, Sr., Robin G. Wright (Wilson), Cassandra Williams, Patricia Starks and Takiya L. Barkley; and his sisters, Frances Burke, Lillian Johnson (Curtis) and Alberta Davis. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
