Janice Emory Bounds Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Emory Bounds (Eden, Maryland), who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Emory and Ethlyn Hitch Porter; her husband Ronald H. Bounds; her nephew Michael Powell; her brother Ronnie Emory (Ellen); her niece Teri; and her stepfather Harold Hitch.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Powell (William); her grandchildren, Kevinn Powell (Tanya) and Jeffery Powell (Sarah); her son Danny Bounds (Lori); her granddaughter April Blevins (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Ryan Jr. and Rusty; her grandchild Jordan VanAuken (Shelby); her great grandchild Carly; her grandchildren, Alex Bounds and Rachel Beebe (Robert); her great grandchildren, Penelope and Daisy; her daughter Paula Wimbrow (Eddie); her granddaughter Jennifer Wimbrow-Jenkins (Donnie); her great grandchild Dariayn; her sister Jean Hitch Powell (Doug); her nieces and nephews, Dacia Powell and Susan Wright; and also, Valerie Bounds (Keith Brooks), Trevor Brooks (Grace), Denay, Tre and Hailey. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Olivet Christian Cemetery (6819 Meadow Bridge Rd, Eden, MD 21822).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Snow Hill Fire Department in Janice's memory, continuing her legacy of service and generosity.
